In this blog article, I’ll be taking you through an engagement photoshoot at sunrise in Florence!
If you’re looking to capture the magic of this beautiful city, an engagement photoshoot at sunrise is the way to go!
Florence is one of the most beautiful and historic cities in the world. It’s no wonder that so many couples choose to have their engagement photos taken here! The city has a truly magical atmosphere, especially at sunrise.
When it comes to engagement photos, there’s nothing quite like a sunrise shoot. The soft, natural light is incredibly flattering, and the colors are always breathtaking. Plus, you get to avoid the crowds that Florence is so famous for.
As the sun began to peek over the horizon, we walked hand in hand through the deserted streets of Florence. The city was just coming to life, and we had it all to ourselves. We stopped to admire the Duomo, basking in the warm morning light, before making our way to Ponte Vecchio and Santa Croce. The golden hour light made the city look like a painting, and we couldn’t help but feel like we were in a fairytale. Every turn felt like something out of a storybook, and we were completely enchanted. We ended our session at Piazzale Michelangelo, overlooking Florence from above. The whole city was bathed in a pink and orange glow, and it was absolutely magical. From Piazzale Michelangelo we walked up to San Miniato al Monte, that is one of the best vantage points to take in a panoramic view of Florence. The church’s hilltop location provides an unobstructed view of the entire city, and its terrace is the perfect place to snap some photos of the sunrise.
If you’re planning a visit to Florence, be sure to make time for a sunrise photoshoot in the alleys of the city center and at San Miniato al Monte – you won’t regret it!
